We are lucky enough that the lake my parents have a cottage on does an AMAZING fireworks show. It's done by one of the residents who takes donations all year long and I have to tell it does not look like this guy is an amateur. The show lasted for at least 30 minutes. This is the first year that the girls haven't been afraid so it was truly fun to experience all the oohs & ahhs without the screams and cries :).
We took the pontoon boat out to the middle of the lake to enjoy the show and it was so neat when the show was over to look out over the sea of pontoon boat lights. It is definitely something we will be repeating every year!
The kids were decked out with glow sticks/necklaces, anklets & bracelets.
We were lucky enough that the girls even slept in until 8:00 the next day...that's pretty much a record for them :).
