it only took 3 years
but Lilly finally got her first haircut
she talked about it the whole morning
and the whole car ride there
about how she wanted it cut up to here
just like Daddy & Papa
& when we got there - nothing
not a peep would come out of her mouth
she just sat there with a grumpy face
like it was complete torture
of course as soon as we were back in the car
she was non-stop telling me everything about it
and that it didn't hurt one bit.
